Einzigartige App zum Übersetzen botanischer und deutscher Pflanzennamen mit Zuordnung der Pflanzenfamilie (deutsch und botanisch). Suchen sie sich analog des Suchbegriffs Pflanzen aus einer Gattung oder Familie. Fragmentarische Suche ist möglich. Die App beinhaltete über 7500 Pflanzenarten (incl. Unterarten, Formen und Varianten), aber keine Züchtungen/Hybriden. Über 3200 Pflanzenarten sind mit 1 Foto bebildert. Die botanischen Namen enthalten auch Synonyme, sofern vorhanden. Bei den deutschen Namen sind es die wichtigsten, die gelistet sind (keine mundartlichen oder regionalen Bezeichnungen).

Der Schwerpunkt der App sind Pflanzen in Mitteleuropa incl. Alpen, Zierpflanzen, Zimmerpflanzen. Es sind aber auch viele Mittelmeer-Arten erfasst und zusätzlich wichtige Nutzpflanzen der Erde, wie z. B. Kohlarten, Getreide, Banane, Australischer Teebaum, Sagopalme und viele, viele mehr.

Es gibt auch ein botanisches Quiz mit 150 Fragen, davon 100 Fragen mit Foto. Das Quiz ist unterteilt in einen Lernteil mit allen Fragen und einem Quizteil mit je 20 zufälligen Fragen.
